TORONTO -- Supporters of the province's proposed smoking ban say they want the government to close a loophole that could expose Ontario youth to tobacco advertising.

Rowena Pinto of the Canadian Cancer Society says the bill doesn't ban massive convenience store cigarette displays.

These, known as "power-walls," tempt young people to smoke.

She says the group plans to raise the issue during the four days of public hearings on the proposed laws that start today in Toronto.
